Profile

Pauline's vibrant art work has been stimulated by the cross-cultural currents of Hong Kong and Australia where she has lived and worked. Influences of the folk-art of her native Sri Lanka, the primitive aboriginal art and silent landscapes of Australia, and the more racy and noisy atmosphere of life in Hong Kong permeate her highly original art-work.

Her works have been bought by collectors across the world, and in Hong Kong her work hangs permanently in such prestigious locations as the Mandarin Hotel, Hong Kong; the Aberdeen Marina Club; the University of Hong Kong; Park Lane Hotel, Hong Kong; and more recently in a lounge/bar named after her (Courtney's) at the new boutique Minden Hotel in Tsimshatsui.

She has had many successful sponsored exhibitions and her unique and highly individual paintings are much sought after. Please visit Pauine's gallery in Melbourne or contact Pauline to make an appointment to view her current work.
